The fight against breast cancer is marked every year on October 1. During this day, the Romanian Association of Oncology “Sfânta Ana” wishes to draw attention to the alarming increase of the number of breast cancer cases in Romania. The information of population in terms of the means to prevent and the importance of early detection of the breast cancer play a major role in the developed countries of the world, where the mortality due to this disease decreased. For this reason, the Romanian Association of Oncology “Sfânta Ana” organized an event that related to the distribution of fliers aimed to inform the population on the prevention and early detection methods of the breast cancer, supported by students and volunteers of the Students League within the University “Constantin Brâncuşi” Tg-Jiu.
